Copyright and IP Takedown Policy

This policy explains how rights holders and affected parties can request review or removal of content on Hayloft.

Effective Date

Effective Date: May 20, 2026.

1. Overview

Hayloft is an AI-powered fictional roleplay, storytelling, and character interaction platform operated by Hayloft Technologies LLC. Users may create characters, bots, prompts, images, descriptions, tags, opening scenes, chats, and other content. Hayloft does not claim that user-created characters or bots are official, endorsed, sponsored, approved, or affiliated with any rights holder.

2. Copyright Takedown Notices

If you believe content on Hayloft infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@hayloftai.com. To help us review the request, include:

  • Your full name, organization if applicable, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The Hayloft URL, character link, profile link, screenshot, or other information sufficient to locate the content.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Review and Removal

Hayloft may remove, restrict, make private, disable access to, or otherwise moderate reported content while we review a complaint. We may request additional information before taking action. We may notify the user who submitted the content where appropriate.

4. Counter-Notices

If your content was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may contact support@hayloftai.com with a counter-notice. To help us review it, include:

  • Your full name and contact information, including email address.
  • Identification of the removed content and where it appeared on Hayloft before removal.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed because of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court where legally applicable.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We may forward a counter-notice to the complaining party where appropriate and may restore content if legally permitted.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Hayloft may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights. We may also limit public posting, discovery, character creation, or other features for accounts that generate repeated valid complaints.

6. Trademarks, Publicity, Personality, and Other Rights

You may also report trademark issues, brand confusion, impersonation, rights of publicity, personality rights, privacy concerns, or other legal rights issues by emailing support@hayloftai.com. Include the content link, your relationship to the rights at issue, the reason for removal, and any supporting details.

7. Abuse of the Process

Do not submit false, misleading, or bad-faith takedown requests. Hayloft may reject incomplete or abusive notices and may take action against accounts that misuse reporting or takedown systems.

8. Contact

Send copyright, trademark, publicity, personality rights, and other IP-related reports to support@hayloftai.com.
